25 December 2019: Switzerland

The date is correct. The Swiss run a full service on Christmas Day and getting out into the mountains is far more fun than watching the telly. I was keen to try the SOB's brand new Traverso EMUs built by Stadler.
Unit 202 stands at Luzern awaiting departure for the run to St. Gallen. This is an hourly inter-regional service with a total journey time of 2hr17.
Side view. Not convinced about the livery but maybe it'll grow on me.
Each set has two self-service catering areas.
Yes, that is a proper coffee machine.
